“The site slope and height of the first floor provided the biggest challenge, but Bondor helped address these,” Leigh said.
“Given the home is quite elevated on the site, we thought it would look a lot better and create a visual contrast between the brick façade of the lower level and the LuxeWall® panels on the upper level.
“Another big bonus from using LuxeWall® at elevated sites such as this, is that we only have to set up scaffolding for the one trade.
“The panels lift and fit into place and can be installed by our carpenters, so once that’s done it’s finished,’ he said.
Not only does the end result look great, but the interlocking wall modules also reduce energy usage for heating and cooling due to its superior thermal performance and air-leakage control.
“LuxeWall® is a great solution for that because it not only offers the insulation inside the product, it’s also good for moisture as well and is fantastic against condensation,” Leigh said.
LuxeWall® is Codemark Certified and conforms to NCC requirements and Australian Standards, it is also available with a mineral wool core which can achieve BAL40, BALFZ and be used as a Boundary Wall Option.
