BP Silverwater

The Challenges

The refurbishment of the BP in Silverwater, NSW, was constructed through local architect, Arrowfield, with building conducted by Clifford Construction P/L. The new service station begun in November 2016, with a completion date of June 2017, with a total project size of 1,300sqm. The client was seeking a roofing product that was not only stylish and sleek, but was time efficient to install, and held the ability to stand the harsh Australian Climate. This called for Bondor’s® 250mm SolarSpan insulated roofing product to be the chosen for the project.

The Solution

The project manager at Clifford Constructions P/L said they used Bondor’s products after Arrowfield architects had carefully selected SolarSpan for the job. “This was our first time using Bondor’s SolarSpan and we were pleased with the outcome. Its design intent was for exposed ceilings, providing a warehouse-style look, which complemented the polished concrete floors. As the roof material was a pre-finished product on the underside, this eliminated the need for internal ceilings to be installed.”
