When a homeowner approached Custom Carports and Pergolas with a set of traditional building plans for a patio that included steel beams, parapet walls, and a plasterboard ceiling, the Branch Manager Kose recognised an opportunity to deliver greater value and an improved design.

“My customer’s brief was for a new multi-car port to be built which could double as an entertainment area for parties,” Kose said.
“We designed the space to function as both, with a clean ceiling finish and integrated downlights. Using SolarSpan allowed for longer spans between supports and enabled us to cantilever the roof at the front and back.
“This gave us a high-end architectural look and added a distinctive feature to the project,” Kose added.
